Daddy made a snowman with all the snow we've got. Nia was quite impressed with his work. She also liked looking at him from the warmth of the house!
Happy New Year 2011 - Maritime Aquarium - January 2
We took a little trip to the Maritime Aquarium in Norwalk, CT. We didn't get too many good pictures of Nia with the animals, but she loved the turtles and the seals. We are members now, so hopefully we'll get some good pictures next time we go.
Blizzard 2010 - December 27
The day after Christmas we got 14 inches of snow! Nia didn't like getting her snowsuit and boots on, but she had fun playing once we got outside.

Christmas Day - December 25
Santa came while we were sleeping, ate his cookies, drank his milk, and put presents for us in our stockings and under the tree. Nia spent all day opening presents and playing. Merry Christmas!
Christmas Eve - December 24
Nia hung her stocking and listened to The Night Before Christmas story with Daddy and Sadie. She is anxiously awaiting Santa's visit!
Boston - December 23
We took an unexpected trip up to Boston just before Christmas for a sad occasion. Nia and Sadie's great-grandfather, Robert Wadland, passed away. He was 90 years old and was married to Great-Grammie, Beatrice, for 70 years!
Despite the occassion, it was nice to see family and visit the Ducklings in the Boston Public Gardens.
Nursery School Holiday Party - December 21
Nia is fully in the holiday spirit. She enjoyed a party at nursery school with her teachers and friends.
Starting with Nia and going clockwise, her classmates are: Nia, Jack, Jelena, Tyler, Max, Lila, Hudson, Tobey, and Natalie.
Christmas in Arizona - December 17
We celebrated Christmas with the Kilburys and Nia loved opening presents.
Visit to Arizona - Desert Museum - December 17
The whole family took a trip to the Desert Museum. Nia saw lots of animals and the bird show!

Visit to Arizona - December 13-17
After several flight cancelations and a long day of travel (3 planes and 18+ hours), we made it to Arizona for a great visit with Grandma and Papa. Nia jumped right into the action (literally jumped into the pool before Mom could get in) and enjoyed swimming, playing with Mazie and Blue, picking fruit with Papa, and playing the piano with Grandma.

Picking out our Christmas Tree - December 11
Nia and Daddy were very successful picking out a beautiful Christmas tree for our house this year. Sadie got some fresh air, but she slept through the tough decisions.
Christmas Decorating - December 9
Nia was very helpful in getting out all of the Christmas decorations. She's very good at unpacking these days!
