Happy Mother's Day - May 7

We celebrated a very happy Mother's Day up in New Hampshire. We were there for Mim and Clark's anniversary party. Nia and Daddy went out first thing in the morning and brought back coffee, yogurt and muffins. Yum! Nia went for a quick swim at the hotel pool and then we had a great brunch with Nana and Grandfather, Auntie Lynne and Uncle Mark before we came back home. How special for Mommy to be with her mom and her girls on Mother's Day!

Duck Derby - April 30

We went to the Duck Derby, which is a fundraiser event for the Tarrytown Y. We adopted a rubber ducky and watched it race down the little river. Ours didn't win, but Nia had fun watching all the duckies and also the dancers at the event.

Nia Ballerina - April 29

Nia likes to put on her tutu and her crown and do ballet. She shows Mommy how to do it now.

On Sadie's actual birthday, we all (Mom, Dad, Nia, Sadie, Auntie Lynne, Nana & Grandfather) went to the Bronx Zoo. Nia and Mommy rode a camel!

Puppets with Auntie Lynne - April 16

Auntie Lynne, Nana, and Grandfather came down from Maine to celebrate Sadie's 1st Birthday. Auntie Lynne brought a bag full of puppets and Nia had fun playing puppets with Auntie Lynne after the party.

Nia was a wonderful hostess for Sadie's First Birthday Party. She did a nice job entertaining and sharing toys with her friends.

While we were at the aquarium in S. Norwalk, Nana bought a penguin stuffy for Auntie Lynne, because she loves penguins. Nia is taking very good care of him until he can get up to Maine and be with Auntie Lynne. Nia affectionately calls him "Pengy" and we're not sure if he'll actually make it up to Maine or not!

Nana is back and we're making cookies again!
As you can see from the past blog posts, our grandparents have been back and forth a lot! Mom has gone back to work and so our grandparents have come to help us out. They've been so wonderful!
