August Faces - August 8
Nia has quite a lot of ways to express herself these days - and she can go from happy to serious in flash!
Run with the Celts - August 8th
Nia went to an Irish fair in St Paul this weekend and participated in another 5k with Mom and Dad. Dad came in first in his age class! and Mom came in 4th while pushing Nia in the jogger. Nia had fun at the fair and loved seeing all the dogs around.

Triathlon - August 1st
Mom completed her first sprint triathlon. It went very well, was a lot of fun, and Nia and Dad were there at the transitions and the finish line to cheer!
Swim - 1/4 mile - 9 minutes 21 seconds
Bike - 13.5 miles - 52 minutes 33 seconds
Run - 3.4 miles - 28 minutes 42 seconds
Came in 39th out of 127 women and 7th out of 26 30-34 year old women - Not too shabby
Nana & Grandfather Visit & a Trip to the Zoo - July 25th
Nana and Grandfather came to Minneapolis for Nia's birthday party. We took a trip to the Minnesota Zoo! Nia really liked the monkeys, the prairie dogs, and the goats at the petting zoo!

Nia had a great birthday celebration! She had some friends over, Dad grilled, and Mom made a cake!
