Nia loses her 1st tooth - July 31

Nia lost her first tooth today. After it being wiggly for quite a while, she pulled it out herself at camp today. She wrote the tooth fairy a nice note. It says "On Thursday my first tooth I pulled. The tooth fairy will come to my house. Thank you. From Nia."

Happy 6th Birthday Nia - July 22

Seems not that long ago that I started this blog. But it's been 6 years! Nia wanted a "birthday playdate", not a party. So she had Ashlyn, Annabelle, Lucy, Madelyn, Charlotte, and Sadie over to our house for a craft birthday playdate. Cindy made a beautiful castle birthday cake - Nia designed the colors herself. Nana and Grandfather came for the party and Grandfather made ballon animals for all.

Minneapolis - July 4

We went to Minneapolis for a long weekend and had a great visit with Sameer, Laura, Bella, Mike, Hilary, Louie, Patrick, Sarah, and baby Julia. It was fun to see the hospital where Nia and Sadie were born, our first house, and their daycare. Nia and Sadie had so much fun playing with Bella, Louie, and meeting Julia.

Teddy Bear Meet - June 14

We're so proud of Nia for all of her hard work on the Westchester Gymnastics Level 2 team. She's worked incredibly hard memorizing and practicing her routines for her first meet: floor, vault, beam, and bars. She did her very best at the meet, listened to her coach, and cheered on her teammates. And she was rewarded with 5, yes 5, teddy bears for coming in 6th on her team! Way to go Nia!!

Maryland Weekend - May 18th

We had a blast renting a house with Amanda, Jake, Allison, Kelli, Ted, and visiting with Molly, Brendan, Tim, and Christie.  All the kids had so much fun ...Nia, Sadie, Lily, Cooper, Kama, Wiley, Finn, Piper, Drew, and John.  Swimming, zipline, a playground, frogs, crabs, fishing ...good food, great friends, great weekend.
