Nia's first Race - August 24

Nia participated in her first 5k today with her Mom and Nana, while her Dad ran a 1/2 marathon! She did very well, finishing first in her age group.

Relaxing with Dad on Saturday - August 23

Saturdays are for relaxing - Nia especially enjoys time with her Dad on Saturday morning catching up on ESPN and all the latest sports news.

One Month Old! August 22

Wow - one month has flown by!
At the pediatrician today Nia weighed 8 pounds 13 ounces. Almost 9 pounds already. She's getting big.
Nia newest skill is trying to strengthen her neck and hold her head up. She practices during tummy time and while being held. She's getting strong!

Bath Time August 19

Nia is starting to like her bath more, but she still enjoys the snuggle time afterwards much better.

Nia goes to church August 17

Nia took a trip to the Linden Hills Congregational Church today. She slept through her first sermon, but that's OK.

Jogger Stroller August 16

Nia likes her jogger stroller! Her car seat attaches to the jogger stroller and she rides in style to Lake Harriet.

General Mills Fashion Show August 13, 14, 15

Nia is a proud supporter of General Mills, where Dad works. She especially likes being a "Cheerios Kid" with her Nana.

3 Weeks Old - August 12

Nia was 3 weeks old on August 12th. We think she's close to 9 pounds now! She enjoys walks snuggled next to Mom in the Baby Bjorn, but isn't enjoying her car seat yet.

Playtime with Giraffe August 11

Nia enjoys playing, watching, and reaching for her new Giraffe toy. Giraffe is very bright and his feet make different noises.

Nana and Grandfather visit from Maine - August 8-10

Nana and Grandfather have come all the way from Maine to meet and visit Nia. Nia had lots of cuddle time with her grandparents, walks to Lake Harriet, and Grandfather did lots of cooking.

Today Grandma, Mom, and Nia went for a walk at Lake Harriet.

Plenty of time for playing on the blanket. Then a little relaxation with Dad in his new leather chair.
